Winter Concert No. 2
YCM returns to Tateuchi Hall to showcase masterpieces for string quartet, offering a journey through the classical and modern eras. Expect to hear selections from Joseph Haydn, the father of the string quartet, as well as works by Beethoven, Mendelssohn and modern pieces by Sergei Prokofiev and Dimitri Shostakovich.
YCM presents this admission-free concert in the Community School of Music and Arts (CSMA) at Finn Center as a part of its mission “advancing the artistry of extraordinary young musicians through the study and performance of chamber music.”
